Major General (retired) Michael S. Repass is the CEO for Able Global Solutions LLC, which he founded in 2013. AGS focuses on international affairs to examine trends and environments for strategic perspectives. Mike has worked with several international defense companies to assess and develop markets and ascertain strategic trends.

He graduated from the United States Military Academy in 1980 then served as an infantry officer in multiple junior officer assignments including company commander. He served over 30 years as a Special Forces officer and commanded at every level from Captain to Major General.  Maj. Gen. Repass earned a master’s degree in Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College. He commanded the Combined Joint Special Operations Task Force-Arabian Peninsula during Operation IRAQI FREEDOM during two combat tours; and later commanded the U.S. Army’s Special Forces Command; and twice served in U.S. Special Operations Command Europe in Stuttgart, Germany – first as the Deputy Commander, then as the Commanding General until his retirement in 2013.

Maj. Gen. Repass serves as an adjunct faculty member for the Joint Special Operations University and supports senior leader educational and development programs. He has also advised the defense forces of the Republic of Georgia, along with multiple European and African countries. He has focused on Ukraine defense reforms since 2016 and became the NATO Strategic Advisor to Ukraine for Special Operations Forces in 2021. He continues to serve in multiple roles supporting Ukraine. Maj. Gen. Repass also supports program the reform and institutional development of Taiwan’s defense forces and their efforts to deter invasion from China.
