Captain Jacob Conley is a former U.S. Army Office and current Master of Global Management student.
pursuing a double major in Economics and Foreign Languages (French & German) at the United States Military Academy, Jacob had the opportunity to serve as the boxing team captain, work in Washington, D.C. with the Veterans’ Education and Training Services, and spend a semester abroad in Lille, France. Utilizing his intercultural aptitude, Jacob commissioned into the U.S. Army as a Military Intelligence Officer.
Through his Army experience, Jacob further developed leadership excellence and reinforced his values of selfless service, humility, and integrity. While completing four different assignments, his biggest learning experiences were graduating Ranger School, serving as the liaison officer to the South Korean Navy, and winning the All-Army boxing super-heavyweight championship.
In 2021, Jacob chose to serve his country in a new way within the financial sector and decided to exit the Army to attend the Thunderbird School of Global Management in Phoenix, AZ. Inspired by the quote, “Borders frequented by trade seldom need Soldiers,” Jacob is pursuing a Masters of Global Management, with a concentration in Finance. He is determined to help promote peace through business.
