Mr. Romany brings almost a decade of experience in municipal fixed income origination, structuring and credit analysis. Prior to joining Bancroft, Mr. Romany worked as a Consultant to a startup broker-dealer where he assisted the founders sourcing, structuring and marketing over $300 million in high yield private placement deals. Prior to his consulting role, Mr. Romany
worked at Tortoise, an essential assets investment management firm. He helped build Tortoise’s Social Infrastructure platform by leading the structuring and surveillance efforts within the charter school, affordable senior housing and project finance sectors. Previously Mr. Romany worked for RBC Capital Markets providing quantitative coverage within the not-for-profit healthcare team. Mr. Romany began his career in municipal finance at PFM, the nation’s leading municipal advisor, where he worked in the project finance and infrastructure team.
Mr. Romany will help bolster Bancroft’s Public Finance Banking presence. He will work closely with Bancroft’s robust sales and trading team, which has already established its ability to significantly expand the investor base for numerous municipal entities across the country. Mr. Romany’s experience as an investor and structurer will allow Bancroft to provide additional value to these entities via cost effective and innovative financing strategies beneficial to these borrowers.

Osaze was born and raised on the twin island Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. He migrated to the United States in 2005 to complete his undergraduate studies in Finance at Morgan State University in Baltimore, Maryland where he graduated summa cum laude in 2009. In 2012, Osaze completed a MS in Investment Management at Pace University in New York City. He holds his Series 7, 53 and 79 licenses.
