Bancroft Capital Named Military Spouse Employment Partnership Small Business Partner

Posted: July 13, 2023

Bancroft Capital – a certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Fort Washington, PA and specializing in Institutional Brokerage and Capital Markets services – has been named a Military Spouse Employment Partnership Small Business Partner (MSEP SB).

MSEP connects military spouses with hundreds of partner employers who commit to recruit, hire, promote and retain military spouses. Since its inception in 2011, MSEP employers have hired more than 220,000 military spouses.

“It is a privilege to be recognized as a Military Spouse Employment Partnership Small Business Partner,” said Bancroft Capital CEO Cauldon Quinn. “The restoration we endeavor to provide to disabled military veterans is not limited to the service member, but with an eye to the entire family who make the service members’ sacrifices possible. In a military family, no one makes as great a sacrifice as a spouse, and we are proud to stand in support of them.”

As an MSEP employer, Bancroft Capital is being recognized as a company that actively recruits and seeks to hire military spouses for employment, offers targeted career support for military spouses such as telework, flexible scheduling, and remote work when possible; and participates in local outreach events to connect with local community networks serving the military population.

Bancroft Director of Municipals Dana Villanova is a military spouse to an active-duty Army LTC stationed at Camp Smith in Hawaii, where Villanova works remotely for the firm and also serves as an ambassador for Bancroft’s Veteran Training Program.

“I am forever grateful for the management team at Bancroft Capital, who reached out to me – a military spouse who found myself unemployed after my spouse’s required military relocation to Hawaii. They offered meaningful, flexible employment, and now I get to continue my 20-year career in the municipal bond industry and contribute financially to our household,” said Villanova.

Co-founded in 2017 by Cauldon Quinn, a disabled Navy veteran, Bancroft Capital is a company with a strong commitment to service: service to clients, country, and veterans. As a for-profit company, Bancroft rises above the competition on the merit of value-added content and leadership derived from industry veterans with 40+ years of industry pedigree; and on the foundation of a commitment to offer meaningful training and employment to service-disabled veterans through Bancroft’s signature Veteran Training Program (VTP).

The Bancroft Veteran Training Program
Bancroft funnels profits, earned through its hard work and extensive knowledge, toward its commitment to helping restore disabled veterans to their rightful place as leaders in our society and communities, but first and foremost as providers for their own families. Launched by Bancroft Capital in 2019, the VTP puts disabled veterans and first responders in a position to develop a skill set capable of supporting a new career as Institutional Traders and Investment Bankers.
